Midwinter Night Dream

During magic silent night
I was carried by the dream
To some snowy virgin sight
Where the stars got used to gleam.

Where the weightless snowflakes,
Wirling in the peaceful dance,
Softly fall on glossy lakes
Vanishing in dark at once.

Where the shadows of the trees
Covered with a twinkling fluff
Always show the way beneath
Frozen, slippery, faded duff.

Where the bullfinchs twitter load,
Ruffled up in frosty day,
Try to rich transparent cloud,
Lighted up by dazzling ray.

Wind has brought the smell of fir
Which reminds Christmas Eve,
Prospects make excessive stir –
We again want to live.

Dreams are easy realized:
With a magic wand you’ll swish –
And a great enormous-sized
Santa Clause will grant your wish!!!
