I've changed and yet remained the same,
The mirror and the songs will bear witness.
The shock subsided. Will the thoughts remain?
I'm staring at the clouds in the distance.

My choices - all of them - are part of me,
My mind expanded to include new things
I'm more and wiser than I've ever been
Songs of the past my present also sings.

I've changed as all the people change with time,
I've learned a little something on the way.
The words just like before collide and rhyme
Tomorrow we'll be more than we're today.
