Poison

I am off that sweet little poison
Having just seen what it can do
It's unpredictable and explosive
And can cause lots of harm to you

It lured me completely into its net
My eyes could not move away
I was so determined to have it
Simply could not do anything with myself

Over it I have lost my night sleep
Of nothing else I could think in the day
I've made every effort to get it
And was so close to throw life away

But something has attracted attention
A sign was sent revealing the truth
It is to do with divine intervention
Now I am off and hell didn't break loose
